All ticket holders:

What time do the gates open?

  • Melbourne Cup, Super Saturday and Perth Cup - gates open from 7.30am
  • Standard Saturdays – gates open from 9.00am

Which gate do I enter through?

Patrons with Foxtix tickets must enter from Matheson or Leger Entries

What happens if I forgot to print my ticket?

Please see a Foxtix Representative at either Matheson or Leger gate.

Do I need to show ID?

Any person who looks under 25yrs of age will have their ID checked. The only forms of ID accepted by Perth Racing are a current Australian Driver’s License with a photo, a Passport or a WA proof of age card with photo. No other forms of ID are accepted.

Can I get a refund on any tickets once purchased?

Perth Racing has a no refund policy; however you are welcome to fill your space with another person.

What can I Bring into the race course?

Are there any road closures?

Melbourne Cup, Super Saturday and Perth Cup -Grandstand Road Closure from 9am

Where can I park?

Public car parking is available off Matheson Road for patrons arriving off Great Eastern Highway.

For those crossing Garratt Road Bridge turn left at the Waterway Crescent roundabout into Leger Car Park.

One lane in each direction on Grandstand Road will be closed on Melbourne Cup.

Car parking is also available at Belmont Park Racecourse on Melbourne Cup with the shuttle bus transferring patrons from Belmont to Ascot and return. Details will be available from the Perth Racing at http://www.perthracing.com.au/default.aspx?MenuID=271

Is there disabled parking?

Disabled parking is available at the Leger Car Park and Matheson Road Car Park.

What if I am coming by Limousine, taxi or private Bus?

  • Limousine Drop Off / Pick Up: - Leger Car park
  • Large Bus / Vehicle Parking:-Near Kilns (next to Head Office)
  • Taxi Drop Offs-Matheson Road or Leger Car Park (off Waterway Crescent Roundabout)

Can I take public transport?

Can I purchase Race Books?

Race Books are available from the following locations:

Cloakroom (bottom of Escalators), Leger Tote, Main Tote Pavilion - Matheson Road end and the Race day Admin Office

Can I get cash out on the race course?

ATM’s are available for cash out in the following locations:

  • 2 x Tote tunnel near Bookies
  • 1 x First Floor near the Sports Bar
  • 3 x Bookmakers Ring (end of carpet)
  • 3 xs Back of Main Tote (near Gannon’s)
  • 1 x Leger area

Can I purchase any cigarettes on course?

We don’t sell cigarettes anywhere on Racecourse.  The closest outlet is the BP on the corner of Grandstand Road and Great Eastern Highway.

Are there areas that I can’t smoke?

No smoking areas include the Front Lawn Area, Bookies Ring and Grandstand including the Seating area outside the Grandstand.

Is there First Aid available?   

Yes First aid is available at Governor’s Drive grass area and the Leger area.
